Anime or Cartoon?
I love Anime because it's more realistic than cartoon, the Anime characters also the only one that can charm me or makes me fall in love to them because of their cuteness, adorableness, beautifulness and many other reason.

This question is too vague. There are many cartoons I'd rather watch than anime, but there are a lot of bad cartoons out there as well. Personally, I like what many people refer to as American Anime, ie cartoons that are more realistic and have better plot overall, but without the anime style of art. Cartoons like Justice League come to mind when I refer to American Anime.

Anime has in depth storys and thus are good for people with big brains.
Cartoons are short/stupid/funny and lack story therefore are good for people with little minds.

I prefer the Cartoon mostly beacuse it is fantasy. It has no pretentions of being something that it is not. Anime tries so hard to mimick reality that it goes to far for me. Cartoons are just fun and entertaining. But in all fairness, no anime has ever really sucked me in.

Hence I prefur Anime
While the generalization stands, it isn't always so. By your definition, I'd say FLCL is a cartoon and Justice League is anime. But if I said that, I'd have a lot of angry FLCL fans...

I like some cartoons. Hell, I grew up watching the orignal Transformers. But I find these days few cartoons interesting as anime. I do like the new Justice League but I can't think of any others. I watch way more anime.

Anime. Hands down. I never really likes Bugs Bunny. Just something about the animation always bugged me. Plus, I always felt like they were trying to send the wrong message to kids having Bugs crossdress and then preaching "Gay is wrong". Make up your mind.

Should we define “cartoon” or “anime” before ripping each other's throats out?
The Watchman is a “graphic novel,” which is a fancy way of saying, “cartoon.” Everything good you can say about anime goes for The Watchman in spades. (The Watchman simply kicks ass)
Anime is just a style of cartooning.
Music fans have been splintering into mutually hostile subgroups for years. While their fans sneer at each other, the great music makers themselves jam with each other, listen to each other's songs and could care less which style each one got his/her fame in.
If we Balkanize cartoon art by drawing big black lines between every style we risk losing something. Good is good, regardless of style. Bad sucks, even if it's in your favorite style.
