I love FMA, so I decided to make a thread for all of you guys to talk about FMA in!

I haven't watched FMA in a while so I cannot comment on my favourite episode, but my favourite character is by far Alphonse.

My favorite character is probably rose, but thats simply because she's cute, in terms of awesomeness I'd say Alphonse aswell :)

Oh yeah, I saw them all in Japanese and then in English. They did a fantastic job of dubbing don't you think? Also, the movie is win.

FMA is one of the best new animes i have seen recently and trust me i see alot lol and i love the movie as well with its dual plot line

The movie is so awesome, it goes with the rest of the series well.

lol fullmetal is one of the best shows, but it was more then action.. it was two kids muaturing and emotions and questions of moral... it hits alot of notes but still cool when Ed does some crazy stuff with alchy.

I like them all...

god that show was just soooooooooooooooooooooo amazing. it is my favorite show. my favorite character is the flame alchemist (cant think of his name right now). i downloaded the episodes on my home computer and i watch them over again periodically

um i am an ed fan... and favorite episode is definatly the trip they make to the sinking city. and they meet siren. =D almost seemed like a differant writer added his spin on that episode... something seemed differant but i thought it was there best episode... or maybe cause ed felt up siren... and there were more boobs... but he who knows =P

That's an awesome anime, I loved it...but my boss has kind of a sickly obsession towards it...it's all good though.

I gotta say i really enjoyed the movie. Many anime movies i have seen are vast departures from their source material. Oh yea and it had the tightest opening as well (a quick little recap of the series).

I really liked episode 1, fav. charcater must be that bomb alchemist

favorite episode: every episode in which winry beats the crap out of everyone :P (which is alot)

What is with Full Metal Alchemist you know? I just never got into it but everyone else is like "omg FMA woot"? I mean really, its not that good of anime....

My favorite character is Hughes, until he dies, then Armstrong is my favorite through the rest of the series, and movie.

I've never been a huge fan of Anime, but I freaking love Fullmetal Alchemist. The characters were fascinating, the storyline had minimal filler and I wanted to keep watching.

chars and story aside, which were excellent, i also enjoyed the soundtrack a lot. the sad songs/musics were particularly haunting

I would have to agree - Greed and Ed are also my favorites. The movie is also in my opinion one of the best anime movies made after the show, as it puts a nice wrap up on the entire story.

My favorite characters are Alphonse Elric, since he's just awesome, (Everyones favorite) and Alex Louis Armstrong (Im the only one who likes this character?). I like Armstrong because his muscles / sparkles make the anime a lot more humorous.

the anime was great but drastically different from the books which i find better, my favourite character is tied between Scar, Ed and Hawkeye and favourite episode is tied with the movie nd the ones where he is in berlin in the show

well, fma is f*king awesome. About my favs chars are Hughes, Lust, Al, Havoc And Armstrong \o/

About the best chapt, well. The most awwwww :sad: was when hughes SPOILER. [ i think that's 33 or 34, i don't quite remember]. The most funny one are of that 'haunted'docks, where a lot of bones were buried in.
The most epic awesome battle is against greed. and that's it lol

I used to watch that a lot. Sadly I can't remember much about it but it was one of my favorites.

This is my favourite one! I like better the manga but the anime is still very good.

I'm not an Anime Fan at all, but FMA was really enjoyable. I can't say I'm like a fan because I've only seen about 10-15 episodes, all skewed about, but it's pretty amazing.

Brotherhood is an anime based on the FMA manga, while the original anime and the manga were both based *roughly* on the original PS2 game and are just two different ways of telling a story.
