2. I can’t draw. Expressions are hard and I can’t even draw a realistic tit without cutting and pasting from someone who can.

A-Hum, "amazing," "famous," etc....Sounds like I"ve got to make it super-good so no one with spit on my efforts.

For those of you who will grow old and die before I finish the GIF I'm working on, I'll describe it so you'll have a reason to hang on a few extra days.

In the foreground is a rear-end view of a guy over a padded stool, pants down, with a she-male's meat thermometer taking his internal temperature.

In the background is a mirror in which you can see it's that Jessica lookalike from “Costume Party,” and she's having a great time.

How to make a GIF, even if you're a no talent boob like me:

You need a couple programs first.

1.Some kind of paint program, like Photoshop.
I use Gimp. Gimp has a lot of good things going for it and best of all, IT'S FREE!

2.An animation program.
There are a lot of free animation programs out there, and if any of you find one you like let me know. I didn't like any of the ones I tried so I blew the $19.95 and bought JASC Animation Shop. It's one of those ones you can try for 30 days before buying, but it only took me 3 days to know it was the one I wanted.

I could give you more, but you've got to play with these two programs first.

Try everything. Download any picture you want and see how many ways you can screw it up.

Pay close attention to cutting and pasting, you'll be using those functions a lot if you can't draw like me.

Next time I'll tell you how I am doing the one I'm working on now.

As I said last time, cutting and pasting is important if you can't draw.

For the GIF I'm doing I cut and pasted:

1.The walls and floors from “Costume Party.”
2.The Captain's bottom half and down pants from “Fucked at Sea.”
3.She-male's backside in the up position from “The Window Washer.”
4.She-male's backside in the down position from “Rub-a-Dub-Dub.”
5.Man's face in the mirror from “Back room Interrogation.”
6.The stool he's held down on, the mirror you're seeing their faces in and the duct tape over his mouth all come form a Google search under Images. (Narrow your search to “Large Pictures” or you'll get useless mini-pic. You can always resized to smaller, but resizing them bigger gives you pure crap.)
7.Mixed and matched the eyes, arms and mouth for Jessica from “Costume Party.”
8.I'll also be replacing the guy's eyes from “Back Room Interrogation” with another set but don't know which yet.

When you think two pictures might work for an animation, load them into Animation Shop and see what works and what don't. Then mess around some more. You'll be putting me to shame in no time.

Where to start???

Cutting and pasting is something you'll use even if you're not wasting time on smut so I'll start there.

Cutting, or more properly in this context, copying is done by selecting what you want and then highlighting it. For instance, you can copy what I'm typing right here by putting your mouse over where you want to start, then hold down the left mouse button until you've moved it to where you want to stop. Then release the mouse button. The text should be highlighted.

Now hold down the “ctrl” key and press the letter “C” on your keyboard. That puts what you've just highlighted into memory. To “paste” what you've copied, press “ctrl” and the letter “V”.

You can try it by clicking onto that box at the bottom where you'd normally type replies and hitting “ctrl/v” Bingo, you've just cut and pasted.

Pictures are the same. Problem is, selecting is a bigger pain in the ass. Paint programs have “select” tools. The simplest ones are the rectangle and oval. Select the rectangle tool, left-click, hold down, move, release the button. You've selected whatever is in that box. “Ctrl/C” copies it, “ctrl/V” pastes it, then you're ready to move it, stretch it or distort in in more ways than you can imagine.

Given that I only know a little more about computers than "Luv," and I'm eagerly sharing what little I know, don't be shy about giving more advanced tips.

(Keep it real simple. I'm not half a bright as you think I am)

lol, Gimp is free but it's not very good compared to Adobe Photoshop, problem is, both gimp and Photoshop take years to really learn, and after you've learnt how to use it they release a new version and you have to re-teach yourself.

My Advice, get yourself a Mac, it's much easier to use for Photo work.

As for the Photos, SheAniMale.com dude, you'll have to pay for them

I checked with Admin and they don't have a problem with us making animations out of their pictures. Some of their stuff you have to join to view, some you can get by just going to their homepage or one of the many teaser sites all over the Internet.

Who knows, if we make an animation good enough they might open a GIF section and put some of them up for the "Oooo's" and "Ahhh's" of countless millions.

By layers i'm talking about the function in photoshop for adding... well... layers, it helps you hide things and show things by stacking them on top of each other. I'll upload an example later but i'm pretty depressed right now.

Please do. I'll play around with them for myself, but one handy hint is worth a thousand "What the fuck's" when I'm trying to learn something new.

Ok here is the example, and a bad one at that.
In the first image you have a picture of me,
In the second image i've created a new layer and scribbled over my face,
In the third image i've moved the new layer to the back giving me a bizzare kinda background.

I'll upload a awesome-o example later.

But the fourth image is three layers.
One solid colour, one set of brushes, and my face.

I spent over two hours reading stuff that made me say, “Oh shit, you can do it that way?” without ever getting near the part about layers.

LMFAO, there's nothing as intimidating as seeing how much you don't know.

Luv, my suggestions to you still stand. If you're retired and want to make GIFs for the fun of it, just dive in, splash around, and worry about pro tricks later. It's one hell of a kick when you make something that works.

When you've done one, please post it here. I'd love to give you an “Atta-boy,” and there's a chance Veg will give us a handy hint or two when he sees what we're doing right and/or wrong.

Lol, yeah the tutorials in all apps are lame, I really think you guys should get your hands on a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS3. I've only got a Mac copy or i'd lend you my key. You guys are going to have to find one on the torrent networks yourselves

You're probably right, but with my skill level the power of damn near ANY program is a case of overkill.

Judging by your picture you're about two generations behind Luv and me. Us old farts don't learn as fast as you young whippersnappers. In my case the prospect of unlearning Gimp and relearning PhotoShop puts me in a cold sweat. The main monkey wrench with my using Gimp is it limits your ability to help. In Luv's case he should probably bite the bullet and start with PhotoShop.

Now I've got to catch up on all the real work I've been putting off (funny how things you need to do don't go away just because you're ignoring them)

Then I'll read a little more of the documentation on this paint program.

Who knows, I might even make some progress on that GIF I'm working on.

The reason I was asking about so much is that I'm going to have an operation with in the next few weeks and will be layed up for about 6 to 8 weeks.
I'm looking for something to do during that time.
I fell 2yr ago and broke (double compound fracture of the tibia and Fibula) just above the ankle. Then last yr the foot got infected around the metal was back in the hospital for 6weeks had a rod place in my ankle and heel. This yr the other side(metal bar) is trying to get infected.
My body just will not accept any forgen objects.
So the DR have told me that the only thing left is to ampute the left leg between the knee and the ankle. They tell me that it is my choise when I want to have the surgery done. So I have asked alot of question and talked to several other Dr about this.
The y all feel that the amputation of my ankle and foot would be the best way to go.
So next week I'm going to have them set up the date to do the amputation.
So it looks like I'll be recovering all winter and will need something to make the time go by faster for me..
So i'll be looking into the things you told me about.
I see that there are several free stories that I can download the pic off. Will just having the pic to work with be enough for the programs to work off?
I just hate to order the site then be layed up and not able to use it for a couple of weeks.

So what do you think? Would this be away to pass the time ! !

OMG!!! I'm so sorry to hear that dude, yeah some of the free images will be enough to get you by. go to pichunter.com and go into the Anime/Hentai section and you should be able to find all the sheanimale sample pictures.

Oh hell yes. You can blow huge chunks of time learning and using these programs.

I'd spend the money on Animation Shop, $19.95. Veg seems to think Photoshop is the one to get for the photo manipulation and he knows a lot more than me.

As soon as you get the animation and photo manipulation programs we can shoot partial pictures back and forth by Email, work on what each other sent and see what we come up with. Whenever you come up with a trick you can pass it on to me and I'll pass the things I learn to you. It would be cool if Veg became part of this triumvirate. He might not learn anything from either of us, but the best way to get better at something is to teach others.

Keep a positive attitude when you go to the hospital. Make sure you have a bunch of things you're looking forward to doing afterwards. There's something in our makeup that makes us get through things better if our minds see today as a small part of a bigger picture. Looking forward to finishing the animation of some smut might not be the highest goal in life, but hell, every little bit helps.

Yeah, but hey, My IQ is like 110 Well it was when I was seven. Hehe. Dont know what it is now, probably gone down alot.
Regardless, A few cans of beer and having an image in your mind of what you want you can make some really nice stuff in a very short amount of time. An open mind and a can of beer can do amazing things.

Here is a very small guide a friend on PureTnA once wrote for me:

I first cut the bit of movie I want in premiere or ulead media studio, then I crop the bit of movie in flash to get the right resolution and export it as a picture sequence.
Then it's on to Jasc animation studio to join all the pictures back together again, tweak the gif and lessen the filesize to around 250-300k.

So it's a bit of a mix of programs I use. It sounds a bit elaborate but it's simple once you have the progs installed.

You'll then end up with something like this

Very cool. I don’t have all those programs (or a Mac) but it’s neat to know you can do something like that.

But I’m more intrigued in making something happen in a GIF that didn’t exist before my perverted brain got my multi thumbed hands busy creating it. I guess I could morph Hillary Clinton’s face into your GIF and manipulate various pictures of her to get absurd expressions through the cycle, but it seems like a lot of work for a weak chuckle. Besides, that might forever ruin this perfectly good clip.

Yeah, you can learn Photoshop in 10 minutes if you wanted to, but you'd suck ass at it. True Photoshop masters have been using it since the day it came out all those many many years ago and still havnt found all of the features. Photoshop is a true example of a Professional Product. It's amazing, if you've got the time to learn it. I've been using Photoshop for two years on and off now and i'm still only just learning the tip of the ice berg.

It sounds like alot of fun for the three of us to do together.
I'm going to wait till I get back home to start on trying to do anything tho.
Plus It will the first of the month and then I can order the sheanimale site for the month.
Sofor the stay in the hospital, I already have things set up that I want to do after I get the operation and recover.
I was in the porces of adding two rooms on to my trailer when I broke the leg.
This winter with me layed up I'm going to get the sheetrock and the wood for the walls plus the paneling for the front room paid for. Then next yr after I heal I'll work in the front room while its cold outside. My Dr got upset with me this past yr cause I would not set down. I went from 240 lb in Jan down to 180 lb right now. I did not like myself that large. I have always stayed around 175 to 185 for 5'10" that where I feel the best.
So "YES" I do have alot on my plate when I get out of surgery and recovered.
The drawings and GIF's will just help keep my mind working free.

Yes, more or less. I use Gimp to manipulate the pictures and then test them with Animation Shop as I go. When I think I’m done I save it with Animation Shop.

As for how much time it takes, I’m embarrassed to tell you.

They take me a ridiculously long time. When I say I have absolutely no artistic talent I’m not being modest. I spend endless hours cutting parts of a real artist’s work into each frame and manipulating them as I paste. Then I flip back and forth between frames to see where things are screwed up.

As a businessman I have to say it’s a colossal waste of time, but as a perv I gotta’ tell ya’ it’s a kick.

I enjoy doing these but I was really hoping others would do a some.

My animation to end all Animations... wow, that was a while ago wasn't it. Well, i've yet to find a Mac application that provides the same flexibility that I get with some windows graphic applications, and not having a windows machine at the ready makes things quite hard. It's just trial and error till I find the right app.

I am doing a full time course, work and developing some new software for AnimePhilia all at the same time so time is a little, short to say the least.
I just wish Admin would get back to me with info about the sites RSS feed so I didnt have to design a way to break into the SQL database... woops, sorry, ranting on again

First my computer crapped out halfway through.

Then the new GIMP program I downloaded turned out to be unstable. Kept freezing up, had to Ctrl-Alt-Del to get out of it, losing whatever I’d done in the process.

New computer, new (older, stable) GIMP installed, and I was once again off to the races at my usual snail’s pace.

Today is the “Glorious Day of Presentation.”

Couldn’t get on line.

“All our technical advisers are busy. Your call will be answered in the order received. Your business is important to us. Please wait. Approximate wait time 45 minutes.”

A mere 30 minutes later an accented male voice asks:

“May I have your account number please?”

Turns out my account number was in the upper right hand corner of my bill. Good thing I hadn’t paid it yet.

Except for having to spell every third word to keep the confusion down, the rest of the questions went rather well.

Yes, Greek Mythology is the name of the set.

An artist called Telin did it, along with the African ones. His stuff is my favorite to animate. He’s also the hardest to animate because his stuff is so rich with detail. The facial expressions in his work leave me in awe, but I haven’t been able to do more than leave them frozen while I give movement to their bodies.

Much as I’d like the full sets of everything he’s done, I’d give my eyeteeth for his throw-away sketches as well.

My 2nd favorite to animate is the guy who did the "Man in a Manhole" set. He's got a clean style that's easy to animate and his situations are right up there with Telin's.

I wish I had some artistic ability. I keep getting these great ideas for animations but if I can’t find anything with the right pose I have to compromise, compromise again and finally either give up or present something that falls short of my hopes.

It’s like knowing the right word but having to use several almost right words because you can’t pronounce or spell the one you want. (I think the sports analogy is, “running around your backhand.”)

The three black “girls” boffing that white guy I keep trying to improve is a prime example. If I could just draw a few lines with the right curves or get colors and shadings right without having to cut and paste, this thing would have kicked ass. As it stands, however, I’ve used so much abusive language on my computer that it’s threatening to go on strike.

The original idea for the “Mika” one was to have a guy in a suit being mesmerized by the spiral on the TV over the bar.

My animation to end all Animations... wow, that was a while ago wasn't it. Well, i've yet to find a Mac application that provides the same flexibility that I get with some windows graphic applications, and not having a windows machine at the ready makes things quite hard. It's just trial and error till I find the right app.

I am doing a full time course, work and developing some new software for AnimePhilia all at the same time so time is a little, short to say the least.
I just wish Admin would get back to me with info about the sites RSS feed so I didnt have to design a way to break into the SQL database... woops, sorry, ranting on again

There are many reasons why I don’t.

In this last one the main artist was Eric Stanton. Mr. Stanton died in 1999 so asking would be a real problem.

The one before that had some of Stanton’s stuff as well as body segments from at least four other artists.

I can’t draw at all so I’m always taking legs from this picture, an ass from another and dicks from yet another. Asking each artist if I could use this or that would take even longer than making the animation.

I also give up on a lot more animations than I ever finish.

Last, but not least, I’d feel really weird asking some artist if I could borrow his dick.

I’ve used Telin’s work a lot and he’s a big artist at SheAniMale. He must know by now that I’ve been animating his art, but he hasn’t asked me to knock it off. Hopefully that’s because he doesn’t mind.

Creating a great picture is what being an artist is all about. Animating it is job for no-talent drudge-robots like me. If an artist I respect as much as Telin or Gordingo asked me not to use their work I’d be crushed, but I’d honor their wishes.

I guess I should take it as a compliment that you think I’m an artist who does this stuff for other people. The sad fact is I’m a complete armature who does them for my own enjoyment and shares the ones that turn out half good.

You should try to animate them yourself. It’s fun, horny as hell, and gives you a real kick when something turns out close to what you wanted.

wow the anime look so real I love it

Telin is the hardest for me to animate, but the most rewarding. In “A Day in the Park,” (msg #246 in this thread) I had to take all the people out, copy and paste trees, rocks and whatever to fill the holes they left before I could change their positions.

I’d give my eyeteeth to watch Telin as he’s making his great pictures. It would probably save me hours of copying and pasting if I could do a brush-stroke or two on my own.

An animation site would be cool, but I’m not the guy for that. Close to all the animations I’ve ever done are somewhere on this forum. I’m painfully slow at doing them because I can’t draw at all and have to use other peoples work to create anything.

As for your question about the artist, I don’t know. Lots of mine are done by a guy named Telin, some are Gordingo, plus various cuts & pastes from artists all over the web.
