"Bubble gum art" ... ? What´s that, please?

You’re probably too young to remember the comic strips that came in bubble gum wrappers ("Bazooka Joe" and the short lived comics on "Mary Jane's” and several others, after the base ball cards)
The Art was simple and meant for the immature minds of the kid readers… Later the term was applied to music of the of 60’s such as Tommy James, the Chandels and other Girl bands prior the “British Invasion” (Music in the Mid 60’s)… and much later the teeny bopper songs of the 70’s and 80’s it was a term applied to the less than 17 year olds and the “teeny boppers” partially because of the constant of chewing gum and “Bubble Gum”

Heh.
Maybe I´m not THAT young... but I knew of those!
Here in Brazil we never had baseball as a stablished sport, though; to tell, the use of collectible cards that were sold with bubblegum - however, those collection/albums existed and are still current here ); I had some of those collections when I was a kid, in the 70´s.

Very nice, though I don't know why Jenny would be making out with the bad girls... :rolf: I'm surprised you didn't use one of her notorious blown-apart machinations she's notorious for. Jenny (AKA XJ-9) quite often pulls herself apart and creates some complex device from her body.

Still, very good job reproducing the style.

It´would be more interesting if XJ-9 were wearing her exoskin... but I hadn´t wateched that episode when I drew those... however, thanks for the comment!

I agree with the bubble gum art comment. Too sweet.

I agree. Cute, interesting, but really does nothing for me otherwise.
