Mario ... Anime?!
I was looking for the ending credit theme to accompany the news that The Super Mario Bros. Super Show made it to DVD, when I stumbled across:

The two don't look similar so I guess japan had their own Mario cartoon.

the re doing of old games time and time again and calling them new... when its only rehashed and up graded graphics and fancier controlers...

I think there is over 15 mario games.... most of them are just the same thing over and over

first off there are only like 7 platforming mario games and none of them are alike

But still, loads of games with the name Mario... I think we have a Nintendo fanboy here! lol

I used to watch folks playing "Pong" and "Space invaders" and later Pack man on the tables with beers on the side in the bars on both sides of the big pond...
And now y'all have the new in home ... "Game Boys" and "X-Boxes" and "Play Stations"... and other Games for Home PC's... the basic games all appear almost the same... so when some one says Mario ... its the same Mario I have seen since the early 90's just up dated...
I saw the Atari and later Nintendo plants and HQ in Washington state along with Bill Gates' world Home offices and had a tour of the place before they released Windows 95... So I have seen the Changes and or progression of the computers from the "Sinclare 100" to the "Commador 64" the Apples and the Dells Compacts Acres Sonys and HP's the programs and the Games and computers ...
In fact we the folks on the tour were offered Win 95 at a 30% discount with the patch for adapting Win 3.1, I think it was ... because we were touring the factory ...

The more things change ... the more they stay the same or repeat them selves...

I had no idea there were so many different genres (if that's the right word to use) and such vast difference in content type, style between U.S. (english) and Foreign based creations!
